Links: Fair use Create as many links as you need. Each link points to a web address. After you create a link, the end result is a URL that starts with https:// that you can use anywhere you want.
Clicks: Fair use In the free plan, the fair use principle applies when it comes to clicks on links. This means that we only allow the use of our service to those users who also use the service fairly. Intentionally generated clicks by automated robots or scripts are strictly prohibited.
Simple click counter For each link we count the clicks on the link. You can find the number of clicks directly in the link overview.
Highest account security As you may notice after registration, you don't have to remember a password when you log in to your account. We use an email address and a secure PIN to log in a user. In addition, we do not use any external providers, either for authentication or analytics purposes.
Highest data security All data you entrust to us remains on our servers. In case of payment, the payment information is stored only on the servers of the payment provider.
High availability service We use modern cloud infrastructure to ensure that our service is available with as little downtime as possible. We have set ourselves the goal of achieving an average uptime of 99%.

Unlimited custom domains It is possible to create an unlimited number of custom domains that can be assigned to links. Instead of using the default domain shorl.in for links, you can create links with your own domain name, which has a number of advantages. Branding, control over reputation and trust are the main benefits.
Custom link names (slug) By default, Shorlin links have a random name consisting of 5 characters or more. As a Pro user, you can create links that are not only longer, but also have a custom name, such as: "buy-product-here" or "contact-us" – you can even use capital letters in the name, such as: "Buy-a-Ticket".
Link health check Every single link is checked several times a day to make sure that it works and that the clicking users land on a working website. If an error occurs, you will receive a notification by email.
Links with expiration date You can create links with expiration dates. For example, if you launch a product offer that is valid for 5 days, you can create a link for the offer that expires after 5 days. When the time is up, anyone who clicks on the link will land on a page that says the link has expired.
Conversion tracking Use the powerful conversion tracking for every link you create. For example, track how many new newsletter sign-ups or sales a link generated. Especially if you run paid advertising, you should track every single link click and monitor the ROI that is automatically calculated for each link.
ROI calculation When you track sales and set the cost that each link click incurs, Shorlin automatically calculates the return on investment (ROI) for that link. Never do paid advertising if you don't track or monitor the ROI to keep an eye on profitability.
Detailed link statistics View detailed link statistics for each link you create with Shorlin. You will find a separate dashboard for the statistics for each link.
Detailed campaign statistics View detailed campaign statistics for each campaign. The statistics summarize the data of all links assigned to the campaign, so you can see the overall performance of all links in the campaign statistics. You will find a separate statistics dashboard for each campaign.
Unlimited statistics data storage We keep the statistical data forever. If you want to see how a link performed 5 years ago, you have access to that data. We don't delete outdated statistical data and keep it available whenever you need it.
Unlimited campaigns Create as many campaigns as you need. A campaign helps you group multiple links, and its function can be compared to that of an advertising campaign, where each campaign has a specific, single goal.
Define CPC per link To calculate ROI, you need to set a value for the cost per click for a link. This number is used to calculate the cost and finally determine the ROI – provided that revenue has been generated.
Alternative URL per link A destination URL and an alternative URL can be specified for each link. If the link is intact, the primary destination URL is used for redirection, and in case of a failure, the alternative URL is used. If no alternate URL is specified, the user is shown an error page for a broken link.
Advanced notifications Professional users receive advanced notifications to keep them informed about the performance of their account, links, and campaigns. The notifications can be turned off or on separately in the account settings.
API 2 Those who want to automate some manual tasks to save many man-hours can use the Shorlin API to integrate their app with Shorlin. Currently, the API supports more than 20 actions to interact with the Shorlin system.
